For debugging purposes, after editing yaml and before a new deploy, how can I clear the terminal?

As of the current code, I don't see a built-in UI action that clears the terminal/log-viewer output.

The viewer is an xterm.js Terminal in frontend/src/components/Terminal.vue. That component has helpers for the input line, such as clearCurrentLine(), but not a public "clear all output" action. The backend terminal also keeps a small replay buffer (LimitQueue<string>(100) in backend/terminal.ts), so reconnecting/refreshing can show the same recent output again.

For now the practical options are:

• start a new terminal/run after the old process exits;
• if you mean Docker's own service logs, clear/rotate those outside Dockge, or use docker compose logs --tail=0 when inspecting from the shell.

A real "clear log viewer" feature would need both a frontend clear call, such as terminal.clear(), and a backend endpoint/event that drops the stored terminal buffer. Otherwise the old lines can come back on reconnect.
