Isnt this functionally the same as adding a video to a playlist named "Favorites" ?

Yeah, probably the same as #1710, which can also be achieved by creating a playlist for it.

The question is whether it's worth it to add extra options that automatically add things t your favorites playlist (e.g. a heart button), but likely not worth it.
