In theory, the EM9305 radio in the G2s should be capable of up to 2Mbit throughput (1Mbit in its default mode). In practice, throughput is a tenth that. I don't know why. Modifying its firmware to suppress lens-mirroring through the frame bridge didn't speed it up. Perhaps there is something slow in the Apollo 510b firmware; but, it would have to be something that runs on every bluetooth packet (including every packet in a multipart message, ie, not the message-handler itself). Or perhaps it's something in the configuration of the link between the EM9305 and the Apollo 510b.
