Here it is: https://github.com/Riza-Aslan/Wallos-HA/ Just add the repository URL as a Custom Repository in HA. Ingress is fully supported, so you can add it to your sidebar and access it remotely (provided your HA is configured for remote access). Check out the README for more details. |

Hi everybody,
Im using Home Assistant since some years and love to integrate everything into my dashboard and automations. There are already many integrations for every kind of data. For example the new Health Connect API integration to get fitness data into HA. But wouldn't it be awesome to handle our finances via HA?
I've used a Google Sheet before which looks like this:

(The screenshot is filled with some example data. My real list has much more rows and the prices, income and invest are also totally different. It is just to show you, how it looked like before.)
But I don't like to use Sheets. This is why I've tried firefly III with the HACS integration for Home Assistant. Firefly is pretty cool, but it has also a big learning curve and you really have much to do, to keep the data clean. You have to enter every transaction if there is no possibility to import your bank account automatically from time to time. And it does things, that I don't really need. It is just overloaded.
Then I have first seen Wallos in a Youtube Video some weeks before. The interface of Wallos looks awesome and it is pretty simple to use. But my Google Sheet does provide me some more stats, like monthly costs. Thats why I asked @ellite in a "Feature Request" for a way, to get monthly costs out of Wallos. He created an API, which you can access easily from Home Assistant:
Get the monthly costs into Home Assistant using the REST integration
Restart HA or at least reload the YAML.
This will give you the costs of all subscriptions for the current month. You can change the parameters of the URL to get a fixed month/year or you could also create a helper (input field) in HA to make it more dynamic.
I've used a mushroom-template-card to show me my costs for the current month and how much is left:

(Again...what you see in the screenshot are only sample data.)
- type: custom:mushroom-template-card primary: >- Kosten: {{ states("sensor.finance_monthly_costs") | replace(",","") | float | replace(".",",") }} € secondary: >- Übrig: {{ (1000 - states("sensor.finance_monthly_costs") | replace(",","") | float) | round(2) |replace(".",",") }} € icon: mdi:cash-check entity: sensor.finance_monthly_costs icon_color: green badge_icon: "" badge_color: "" tap_action: action: url url_path: https://<your-wallos-server>/stats.php hold_action: action: url url_path: https://<your-wallos-server>/ double_tap_action: action: none layout: verticalYou have to replace the "1000" with your income.
My first solution was, to use the scrape integration of Home Assistant which worked fine, but it is a little bit more complicated and needs more ressources. I had to disable authentication and add header-information to the configuration. Otherwise it could only scrape the root-Page. I asked the maintainer (@ellite) if he could add more data to the API and it sounds like this wouldn't be a big thing.
Here are some of my ideas, which would make Wallos absolutely awesome:
Please let me know if you have questions or more ideas!
