Support the use of AWS EC2 Roles as credential providers

EC2 roles are a much easier method for providing credentials.

Any chance there can be a shift to supporting them, otherwise I'll have to stay with the use of AWS::SimpleEmailService.

I would also like to see this feature implemented. While it's possible to securely pass credentials via environment variables, I can't help but think EC2 roles are the way to go here.

This is supported in https://github.com/tablecheck/mail-ses. It uses the official AWS SDK under the hood.

Another option is by using aws-sdk-rails with config.action_mailer.delivery_method = :ses.
