Get-SCPItem -can this use SSH session that is open?

Hello,
I was wondering if Get/Set SCPItem can use a SSHsession already connected with new-sshsession? Like use the session id?

It does not, SCP (Secure Copy Protocol) commands are single purpose commands for file transfers. For sessions dedicated to moving and managing files, SFTP (Secure File Trasfer Protool) cmdlets are used and for interactive shell the SSH cmdlets are use there. In SSH they all share a foundations but then diverge on purpose.
