iops parameter error

I am currently using Chef Automate via AWS OpsWorks with Chef-Workstation installed on my local. I'm running Chef-Workstation 23.5.1040 and 'knife --version' returns Chef Infra Client: 18.2.7. Whenever I run knife ec2 server create, I'm getting an error returned of: ERROR: The parameter iops is not supported for gp2 volumes. I'm not specifying iops at all, just --ebs-volume-type gp2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just for what it's worth, the issue goes away when specifying the Amazon Linux 2 ami. Thanks again.

it's a duplicate of #673 and can be fixed by manually replacing the ec2_server_create.rb file with the one here data-axle@a2bf003
