($) Verifying Tasks

Quality matters — especially when it comes to learning and sharing code.
That’s why we’ve introduced Task Verification, a key step in ensuring that every challenge on our platform meets our standards for clarity, structure, and educational value.

Before a task goes public, it’s carefully reviewed by a select group of trusted reviewers. While our system already guarantees that all published tasks contain code that compiles and runs, this layer of verification is all about quality control — making sure tasks are not only functional, but well-written, fair, and aligned with our platform’s guidelines.

It’s not just about passing — it’s about excellence.

($) Who can verify Tasks?

Tasks on our platform can be verified by teachers, who serve as mentors and guides for the student community. They are meant to be a pillar of knowledge and quality, helping to maintain high standards across the platform.

Teachers also have the ability to delegate verification rights to students who have demonstrated exceptional skills and responsibility. These students are awarded a special "Verifier" badge, granting them the authority to verify tasks just like teachers do.

This system helps foster a trusted and collaborative environment where quality content thrives.

($) How task verification process works?

In the main list of tasks, which you get from the homepage by clicking on the "Code" button, you can see tasks marked as "verified." Verified tasks are visible to all users on our platform, and anyone can access them and try them out. With these verified tasks, you can also see tasks marked as "unverified," with a few buttons alongside them, as shown in the image below:

On the left side of the task component, you can see 3 buttons: Edit, Delete, and Verify. Here’s how they work:

  • Edit: Before verifying the task, you have the option to edit it. This allows you to review the task and see what’s inside, making sure it meets the necessary standards.

  • Delete: If the task is completely inappropriate or irrelevant, you can choose to delete it. This is useful for ensuring only high-quality content is published.

  • Try the Task: You can also attempt to complete the task yourself to ensure it works as expected. This is an important step in confirming the task’s functionality and quality.

  • Verify: If everything looks good and works correctly, you can proceed to verify the task. Once verified, the task will be visible to all users on the platform.
