The only way to monitor a user's connection is by making a GET request every n times to detect the IP address, which is not ideal. Additionally, the argument about maintaining a long connection is invalid because the user won't remain on the landing page indefinitely. They will navigate to the report or tool pages. When they return to the landing page, the IP information will be updated. |

Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
Summary:
The UserInfo component currently shows outdated IP-address related data when the client's network changes during an active session and should automatically update to show the current network details.
Problem:
The UserInfo component doesn't update its state when the client's IP address or network changes during an active session.
Present Scenario:
Note : Network changes can be in the form of switching Wi-Fi networks, enabling or disabling VPN, moving between networks.
Why it is problematic?
Expected Behavior:
The component should remain in sync with the client's current network throughout the session and update automatically when the network context changes.
I am sharing this here first as suggested in the contribution guidelines and would appreciate guidance on whether this should be converted into a formal issue.
