Simulator support for USB2S.Port adapter(s)

Does the simulator actually support these devices?

e.g. to allow interfacing S.Port devices via Lua scripts or in any other way?

I am thinking of the SBUS PWM decoder for instance. I know there's a Lua script for this but you need a physical radio to run it.

Or does this have to be supported by suite rather ?
