Why not just the fullscreen mode with all UI elements turned off? Then the EdgeTX logo isn't' shown at all? Or are you actually asking more specifically for when using an app mode layout (meaning it has input focus - thus you will not be able to access radio UI via SYS/MDL, etc until you long RTN to return focus to EdgeTX UI) that you would like the option to have it focused when the model loads, thus removing the EdgeTX logo. If feasible, as long as it is an option, I don't see a problem with that - it doesn't bother me how it is now, but it's your radio/use case. I can see pros and cons for it being a model level (layout) setting and radio level (i.e. configurable per model vs systemwide behaviour)... so probably needs a little more thought and feasibility check. |

Feature Request: ETX Icon Startup Visibility
Add a software setting to allow the user to select whether the EdgeTX icon is visible or hidden when the radio starts.
Setting:
ETX Icon at startup: ON / OFF
ON → The blue EdgeTX icon behaves as it does currently and is visible at startup.
OFF → The blue EdgeTX icon starts off-screen/hidden at startup.
The existing controls should remain unchanged:
Long ENTER (scroll wheel) → hides the EdgeTX icon.
Long RTN → brings the EdgeTX icon back.
Reason for the request
This would be particularly useful for radios using full-screen Lua widgets in app mode, where the blue EdgeTX icon occupies the top-left corner of the display and can obscure important information or values.
Having an ETX Icon at startup: ON/OFF setting would allow users who primarily use full-screen widgets to have a completely unobstructed screen immediately after startup, without having to perform the long-press on the ENTER/scroll wheel every time.
It would also preserve the existing behaviour for users who prefer the current startup state.
The setting could be stored as a normal radio/user setting and default to ON to preserve the current behaviour for existing users.
