From 87bcb5668cf4677d290b030951caf59fcd5e8aac Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: YaoSiQian Date: Sat, 10 Oct 2026 21:03:38 +0800 Subject: [PATCH] feat(rdpsec): add Standard RDP Security client support Add the ironrdp-rdpsec crate implementing the Standard RDP Security protocol (MS-RDPBCGR 5.3): 40/56/128-bit RC4 cryptor streams, the mac-then-encrypt envelope, plain and SECURE_CHECKSUM counter MAC variants, MAC-salt computation, and RC4 keystream resynchronisation via MAC-guided scanning. Wire it through the connector (negotiation, security exchange, client random encryption, inbound slow-path decryption, outbound frame enveloping, license PDU securing) and the ActiveStage session processor (fast-path/slow-path decryption hooks, outgoing frame enveloping). The cryptor is handed over to the session through ConnectionResult::security. Adapt capture-replay, the web client, the e2e/svc test suites and the screenshot example to the new API. --- Cargo.lock | 12 + crates/ironrdp-capture-replay/src/routing.rs | 1 + crates/ironrdp-client/src/rdp.rs | 3 + crates/ironrdp-connector/Cargo.toml | 1 + crates/ironrdp-connector/src/connection.rs | 379 +++++++++++- .../ironrdp-connector/src/license_exchange.rs | 66 ++- crates/ironrdp-rdpsec/Cargo.toml | 12 + crates/ironrdp-rdpsec/src/lib.rs | 539 ++++++++++++++++++ crates/ironrdp-session/Cargo.toml | 2 + crates/ironrdp-session/src/active_stage.rs | 332 ++++++++++- crates/ironrdp-testsuite-core/tests/svc.rs | 1 + crates/ironrdp-testsuite-extra/tests/e2e.rs | 3 + crates/ironrdp-web/src/session.rs | 1 + crates/ironrdp/examples/screenshot.rs | 147 ++++- 14 files changed, 1435 insertions(+), 64 deletions(-) create mode 100644 crates/ironrdp-rdpsec/Cargo.toml create mode 100644 crates/ironrdp-rdpsec/src/lib.rs diff --git a/Cargo.lock b/Cargo.lock index bcd384dddc..d56828151b 100644 --- a/Cargo.lock +++ b/Cargo.lock @@ -2840,6 +2840,7 @@ dependencies = [ "ironrdp-core 0.2.1", "ironrdp-error 0.2.0", "ironrdp-pdu", + "ironrdp-rdpsec", "ironrdp-svc", "picky", "picky-asn1-der", @@ -3268,6 +3269,16 @@ dependencies = [ "ironrdp-propertyset", ] +[[package]] +name = "ironrdp-rdpsec" +version = "0.1.0" +dependencies = [ + "digest 0.10.7", + "md-5 0.10.6", + "num-bigint 0.4.8", + "sha1 0.10.7", +] + [[package]] name = "ironrdp-rdpsnd" version = "0.9.0" @@ -3369,6 +3380,7 @@ dependencies = [ "ironrdp-graphics", "ironrdp-pdu", "ironrdp-rdpei", + "ironrdp-rdpsec", "ironrdp-svc", "qoicoubeh", "tracing", diff --git a/crates/ironrdp-capture-replay/src/routing.rs b/crates/ironrdp-capture-replay/src/routing.rs index eb6915a6c3..dd5380bd20 100644 --- a/crates/ironrdp-capture-replay/src/routing.rs +++ b/crates/ironrdp-capture-replay/src/routing.rs @@ -230,6 +230,7 @@ impl ReplayRouter { compression_type: activation.compression_type, enable_server_pointer: false, pointer_software_rendering: false, + security: None, } .build(); Ok(Self { diff --git a/crates/ironrdp-client/src/rdp.rs b/crates/ironrdp-client/src/rdp.rs index 6e81254c76..70a401fc4e 100644 --- a/crates/ironrdp-client/src/rdp.rs +++ b/crates/ironrdp-client/src/rdp.rs @@ -3071,6 +3071,7 @@ async fn active_session( compression_type: connection_result.compression_type, enable_server_pointer: connection_result.enable_server_pointer, pointer_software_rendering: connection_result.pointer_software_rendering, + security: connection_result.security, } .build(); #[cfg(feature = "udp")] @@ -5285,6 +5286,7 @@ mod tests { compression_type: None, enable_server_pointer: false, pointer_software_rendering: false, + security: None, } .build(); @@ -5322,6 +5324,7 @@ mod tests { compression_type: None, enable_server_pointer: false, pointer_software_rendering: false, + security: None, } .build(); diff --git a/crates/ironrdp-connector/Cargo.toml b/crates/ironrdp-connector/Cargo.toml index 5507ea81c1..4b7290c435 100644 --- a/crates/ironrdp-connector/Cargo.toml +++ b/crates/ironrdp-connector/Cargo.toml @@ -26,6 +26,7 @@ ironrdp-svc = { path = "../ironrdp-svc", version = "0.8" } # public ironrdp-core = { path = "../ironrdp-core", version = "0.2" } # public ironrdp-error = { path = "../ironrdp-error", version = "0.2" } # public ironrdp-pdu = { path = "../ironrdp-pdu", version = "0.9", features = ["std"] } # public +ironrdp-rdpsec = { path = "../ironrdp-rdpsec" } sspi = { version = "0.21", features = ["scard"] } url = "2.5" # public rand = { version = "0.9", features = ["std"] } # TODO: dependency injection?
